We held our daughter's wedding luncheon in the Marshall room upstairs. Everything was perfect. We scaled down the menu to 8 entrees and at least one person ordered each of the entrees. We also ordered several appetizers. Everyone cleaned their plate which is a good testimonial to quality and taste of the food.
We decorated the room and tables ourselves. Carrie (co-owner) was very helpful in helping us pick menu items and allowing us in the room early to decorate. We were very glade we picked a private room vs. just reserving 14 places in the main dinning room. The small room fee was well worth the money to have a private get together. Remmy (our server) did a great job of keeping on top of drink orders and getting all the entrees delivered to the right people. Our daughter and new son-in-law were very happy will all the food and arrangements.

Great old spot across from courthouse and Park in Old Town Leesburg. Apparently used to be a very old bank, not sure what the upstairs veranda was for🤣 Food was great and Joe was a perfect server. They split our entree, basically steak frites, which was delicious. Lovely decor and atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

Sunday afternoon 2pm. I came in the backway from the parking lot. Found a seat at the bar since I was by myself. Spoke to Will a Superb bartender/ Server. He has a very positive attitude. He was very attentive to my order and gave me suggestions. Gave me directions to the closest ATM machine. Made sure my drinks were properly refilled. Will was also extremely knowledgeable about this location and its history. Also there is another bartender named Leandro also refilled my drink with no hesitation. Both of these men had very approachable personalities. Will checked my order with the kitchen before it was ordered. Once the order was prepared it was promptly brought to me at my seat. Will was checking on me to see if I was alright and needed anything else. Once my food was finished he asked if I wanted anything else for dessert. He recommended Peant Butter Torte taste like a Reese Peanut Butter Cup. I was also given a Togo soda upon asking since that's what I was drinking. There are meeting rooms upstairs for corporate events and wedding parties. So great place to have a nice sit down meal either by yourself or with 8 people maybe more. So come on by have a seat enjoy tell Will ,Leandro, or Carolann that you read Daniel's review.

Lightfoot never disappoints as the consistency in service , food and atmosphere are perfect. We went recently for lunch without a reservation and they were able to seat us promptly. We enjoyed the French Dip Sandwich, yum yum. The bread was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, the roast beef was prepared to perfection. And the sauce- the right balance of flavor and consistency. The French onion soup is our absolute all time “ must haves” when we go. I have tried to order it elsewhere and nothing lives up to Lightfoot French Onion.

First time in Leesburg, VA. My contractor recommended the Lightfoot restaurant. We came at 3pm and walking into the building was an amazing experience to the eye.
The food was truly amazing in taste, freshness, and presentation on point.
The wife and I will be back for more.

We enjoyed our dinner so much here! It was absolutely delicious and our experience with the staff was lovely from start to finish. The place feels slightly dusty and the food tasted good but not what I expected for the price. Overall it was a nice experience

We have been coming countless times to enjoy the Lightfoot Restaurant for over 20+ years! They are a treasured fixture in the Leesburg dining and entertainment community and we have been absolutely delighted and pleased every single time we have come here whether it be for a wedding reception, Christmas party, anniversary, birthday, or just a lunch or dinner date with each other or family and friends!
Carrie and Ingrid have made something so memorable, lasting, beautiful, and magical with this incredibly special restaurant!
But it's even more than that-you are welcomed, you are cared for in the best possible ways by the delightful and professional staff, and you leave satisfied each and every single time you dine here. Their menu has delicious menu mainstays and brilliant innovations; all fabulous, all worth trying. And their drinks menu is perfection- brilliantly prepared by the amazing bar staff!
If you haven't experienced the magic of Lightfoot for a special night out or a lunch with dear friends, I highly recommend it!
Thank you, Lightfoot Restaurant, for all you do for the community and the gift you've given to all of us here in Northern VA for so many years! We appreciate your presence and the entire Lightfoot team!

It's a restaurant that restored the old bank a long time ago,
so the atmosphere and interior are really beautiful and Elegant.
The better than Maryland crab soup was really delicious.
The wine was also attractive.
But the fillet mignon steak was too dry and tasteless.
The fried oysters were too thick and the seasoning was too strong,
What is worse the liver itself was not tasty.
The oysters inside were not moist either.
The interior is very beautiful, the crab soup was delicious, but it's a pity that the main menu is not delicious.

What a unique and memorable experience! This restaurant is set inside a beautifully restored old bank, and the atmosphere is just incredible—full of character and charm. You can still see original features like the vault, which adds a fun and historic touch. The food was delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and the service was warm and welcoming. It’s a perfect spot for a relaxed meal with a bit of history on the side. Highly recommend checking it out!

Had dinner here on a cold Saturday night. The decor is very nice, a converted bank. The drinks were very good and strong. Our server was accommodating and not rushing our meal as many places tend to do on crowded nights. We ended up “closing “ the restaurant and gripe from the management. Even offering drink to the ladies as gents went to get the vehicles.
The good was a delight. Oyster batter was very light, crab cake with very little filler, schnitzel made with very large chicken breast.
No dish we had disappointed. This is a nice find in Leesburg. We will definitely be back and recommend the restaurant.
